WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES

7 ChatGPT Prompts for Trading

Memento Mori

"Memento mori." I never fully understood this Latin phrase, though I grasp others easily: "veni vidi vici," "dum spiro spero," and more. But "memento mori"? Why should anyone dwell on their end? We all know our time on Earth is finite.

After some reflection, though, I realized the phrase serves a purpose. It's meant to discipline the mind and guide our intentions, pushing us toward wiser decisions. Here's my modern interpretation: "There's no guarantee I (or you) will wake up tomorrow."

It's also meant to kill procrastination. Tomorrow has no reality because every day is experienced as today.

Since the dawn of humanity, we've evolved around the material world. No wonder affiliate marketers plaster disclaimers beneath their funnels: "There's no guarantee you'll make money." They drone on about effort and action. Blah, blah, blah. In reality, they're just staying compliant with regulations.

In a nutshell, there are no quick get-rich schemes. That's what honest marketers are explaining, unlike scammers.

Scammers' intention

Countless scammers exist with one intention: extract as much money as possible and deliver nothing but disappointment. They lure victims with get-rich-quick schemes.

Yeah, there's no guarantee of reaching your financial goals quickly, especially when scammers and imposters set their sights on you. Once they've drained you dry, they simply move to the next victim.

Sound familiar? Have you been scammed? I bet you have.

I lost a couple of grand myself years ago. Pure disappointment. But as years pass, we become wiser and more experienced. I recall that Latin phrase "memento mori" and ask myself: how many years do I have left before I kick the bucket? Months? Weeks? Maybe days? What have I actually accomplished?

Ask yourself these questions. Can you feel proud or ashamed of the years you've lived?

Rewinding my memory, I find valuable lessons learned through personal experience. I've made too many mistakes to list here. You've made mistakes. We all have.

Living with regrets weighs you down. It's better to learn from your experiments and lessons, forgive yourself, and move forward.

How do I move forward?

  • By keeping my mind open to new challenges and experiments, both online and offline.

  • By avoiding cryptocurrency schemes. I conduct thorough due diligence before entering that "game.""

  • By rejecting easy-money schemes outright.

  • By staying away from fake romance scams. I don't trust beautiful women on screen offering romance. I admire them like beautiful flowers, but I don't engage.

  • By ignoring DMs I receive regularly on Instagram, TikTok, and X after commenting under big influencers' posts, like those of Joshua Elder.

Who is Joshua Elder?

Many "Joshua Elders" exist on TikTok and Instagram. Some follow me on social media, hoping to catch me in their net. Only one Joshua Elder is genuine; the rest are imposters. The moment you comment under Joshua's social media posts, messages start flooding in: "Nice to meet you," "Where are you from?" The common thread? Different accounts all using the same profile picture of Joshua.

Here's the key: Joshua never DMs people first. Anyone DMing you as Joshua is a fraud.

Imposters warm up the relationship before pitching their scheme. Once you engage, you're caught in their web with no room for escape. They're like spiders, deploying all their knowledge and communication skills to trap you. Fortunately, they're not all brilliant. You can identify their intentions and fake identities if you stay alert. If you find yourself communicating with these suspects, stay cold-minded and neutral. Whether it's Joshua or others, don't let emotions about easy money or beautiful women control you.

Naivety

Sometimes I wonder: How do they dare scam people? How can they pretend to be someone else? How do they live in their neighborhoods without shame? Their actions harm real people. Victims could be your sister, brother, or grandparents.

Harsh truth

We're adults. We understand society is diverse. Far worse individuals exist: groups of people in governments deceiving their own citizens and the rest of the world, starting wars, using weapons of mass destruction on civilians. Individuals committing murder, mass killings, or genocide against specific populations. Compared to them, our scammers are practically angels.

Discovery

Turns out, there's a scam camp in Myanmar (bordering India, Bangladesh, China, Laos, and Thailand). That camp houses international individuals from various countries who speak their native languages in addition to English.

According to reports, almost all those scammers were forced into their fraudulent jobs. They became victims themselves first. They were lured by opportunities for highly paid jobs in Bangkok, Thailand. But then they were trafficked to Myanmar, to the camp.

I don't justify them. I feel sorry for those trapped in slavery. But I condemn those who chose this path willingly.

Before these findings, I assumed most organized scammers operated from Nigeria, India, and maybe Pakistan. Now I see there's a new hotspot on the globe, and I wouldn't be surprised to discover similar camps in other parts of the world, perhaps in the Middle East.

We can't stop anyone from becoming a scammer, but we can warn potential victims: "THERE IS NO GET-RICH-QUICK SCHEME."

Everyone must learn their own lessons. I've learned mine and continue learning through observation. I take chances on certain entrepreneurial journeys. I study and test strategies. Who knows? Maybe I'm still making mistakes. I won't know until I act. You never know until tomorrow reveals whether yesterday's decision was right.

Experiments

A decade ago, I dabbled in Forex. The idea of using financial tools to make money seemed exciting and sophisticated. I was convinced the binary options method was the golden ticket, so I jumped in with real money. The result? Predictable. I lost money. That's when I learned firsthand about scammers and their rigged trading platforms that mysteriously close when you start winning.

This is why the get-rich-quick narrative is almost always fraud. Scammers and imposters flock to wherever money flows, especially in cryptocurrency. It's their hunting ground.

To be fair, not all trading platforms are scams. Some legitimate ones do offer real opportunities to profit from Forex trading if you know what you're doing.

As this post's author, I'm addressing my future self, hoping to analyze what I'm doing right and wrong at this moment. Lessons learned from personal experience are the most valuable. Disclaimer: I hope to still be alive when that future arrives to witness the outcomes of the steps I'm taking today.
